Article Influence of High Content of Sodium Doping in Bi(pb)2212 Superconductors(Pleiades Publishing, 2023) Faiza, Bouaïcha; Mosbah, Mohamed-Fayçal; Özyüzer, LütfiAbstract: We study here, the effect of high content of sodium doping on structural and electrical properties of Bi(Pb)2212 superconductors. The X-ray analysis results showed that all the prepared samples mainly belong to the superconducting tetragonal phase Bi–(Pb)2212. SEM micrographs show that the grains are closely related and have a characteristic flat shape for the superconductor Bi (Pb) 2212. For the undoped sample, the grains are randomly distributed with an average size of 5 μm. For doped samples, the morphology changes with sodium concentration. Resistivity measurements show that all samples have a superconducting character. © 2023, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.Article On Purities Relative To Minimal Right Ideals(Pleiades Publishing, 2023) Alagöz, Yusuf; Alizade, Rafail; Büyükaşık, Engin; Sağbaş, SelçukAbstract: We call a right module M weakly neat-flat if (Formula presented.) is surjective for any epimorphism (Formula presented.) and any simple right ideal S . A left module M is called weakly absolutely s-pure if (Formula presented.) is monic, for any monomorphism (Formula presented.) and any simple right ideal S . These notions are proper generalization of the neat-flat and the absolutely s-pure modules which are defined in the same way by considering all simple right modules of the ring, respectively. In this paper, we study some closure properties of weakly neat-flat and weakly absolutely s-pure modules, and investigate several classes of rings that are characterized via these modules. The relation between these modules and some well-known homological objects such as projective, flat, injective and absolutely pure are studied. For instance, it is proved that R is a right Kasch ring if and only if every weakly neat-flat right R -module is neat-flat (moreover if R is right min-coherent) if and only if every weakly absolutely s-pure left R -module is absolutely s-pure. The rings over which every weakly neat-flat (resp. weakly absolutely s-pure) module is injective and projective are exactly the QF rings. Finally, we study enveloping and covering properties of weakly neat-flat and weakly absolutely s-pure modules. The probability formulas for arbitrary positions of repeated states are derived in terms of the Lucas and Fibonacci numbers. For a generic qubit coin, the formulas are expressed by the Fibonacci and more general, N-Bonacci polynomials in qubit probabilities. The generating function for probabilities, the Golden Ratio limit of these probabilities, and the Shannon entropy for corresponding states are determined. Using a generalized Born rule and the universality of the n-qubit measurement gate, we formulate the problem in terms of generic n- qubit states and construct projection operators in a Hilbert space, constrained on the Fibonacci tree of the states. R.; Şahin, C.; Varlıklı, CananNew water soluble Ru(II) binary complex [Ru(C5H7N3)(X)(H2O)(2)] with 2-hydrazinopyridine and its ternary complexes with X = dichloride, oxalate, malonate or pyrophosphate ligands have been synthesized. The complexes have been characterized using elemental analyses, mass, IR, and UV-Vis. spectroscopies, cyclic voltammetry, magnetic susceptibility, and thermal analysis. The complexes are diamagnetic and the electronic spectral data showed that peaks are due to low spin octahedral Ru(II) complexes. The optimized structures of the complexes 1-4 indicate distorted octahedral geometry with bond angles around the ruthenium atom ranged from 80.44 degrees to 99.64 degrees. The values of the electronic energies (-635 to -1145 a.u.), the highest occupied molecular orbital energies (-0.181 to 0.073 a.u.) and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energies (-0.056 to 0.167 a.u.) indicate the stability of the complexes. The complexes are polarized as indicated from the dipole moment values (9.39-14.27 Debye). The complexes have noticeable cytotoxicity with IC50 (mu M): 0.011-0.062 (HepG-2), 0.015-0.080 (MCF-7), 0.015-0.116 (HCT-116), and PC-3 (0.034-0.125).Article Citation - WoS: 1Citation - Scopus: 2Trna Wobble Base Modifications and Boric Acid Resistance in Yeast: Boron-Resistant Deletion Mutants Induce the General Amino Acid Control Mechanism and Activate Boron Efflux(Pleiades Publishing, 2020) Uluisik, I.; Karakaya, H.C.; Koc, A.Abstract: Boric acid is essential for plants and has many vital roles in animals and microorganisms. However, its high doses are toxic to all organisms. We previously screened yeast deletion collections to identify boric acid-resistant and susceptible mutants to identify genes that play a role in boron tolerance. Here, we analyzed boron resistant mutants (elp1∆, elp3∆, elp6∆, ncs2∆, ncs6∆ and kti12∆) for their abilities to modulate the general amino acid control system (GAAC) and to induce boron efflux pump ATR1. The mutants analyzed in this study lack the genes that play roles in tRNA Wobble base modifications. We found that all of the boron resistant mutants activated Gcn4-dependent reporter gene activity and increased the transcript level of the ATR1 gene. Additionally, boron resistant cells accumulated less boric acid in their cytoplasm compared to the wild type cells upon boron exposure. Thus, our findings suggested that loss of wobble base modifications in tRNA leads to GAAC activation and ATR1 induction, which in turn reduced intracellular boron levels and caused boron resistance. © 2020, Pleiades Publishing, Inc.Article Citation - WoS: 1Citation - Scopus: 1Amalgamation Performances of Gold-Coated Quartz Wool, Alumina, Silica, Sand and Carbon Fiber for the Determination of Inorganic Mercury in Waters by Cold Vapor Atomic Absorption Spectrometry(Pleiades Publishing, 2017) Erdem Şimşek, Arzu; Erdem Yayayürük, Aslı; Shahwan, Talal; Eroğlu, Ahmet EminDifferent gold-coated sorbents for amalgamation were applied for the determination of inorganic mercury in waters using a home-made cold vapor generation unit coupled to atomic absorption spectrometry. Among the gold-coated materials investigated (quartz wool, alumina, silica, sand and carbon fiber) quartz wool was found to give the most efficient results in terms of sorption and release. Analytical performance of the system without and with amalgamation was investigated and it was found that when amalgamation was applied, the linearity and slope of the calibration plots were independent on the sample volume for 1.0, 5.0 and 10.0 mL. Method validation was realized through the analysis of a sample of spring water spiked with 1.0 μg/L inorganic mercury and the spike recoveries were found to be 95 ± 1, 91 ± 3, and 99 ± 5% for 1.0, 5.0, and 10.0 mL, respectively. The results demonstrated that the methodology can be applied to these types of samples directly or after amalgamation, depending on the mercury concentration.Article Citation - WoS: 5Citation - Scopus: 5Use of Amberlite Xad-7hp for the Separation of Mn(ii) and Mn(vii) in Waters(Pleiades Publishing, 2017) Erdem Yayayürük, Aslı; Eroğlu, Ahmet EminA simple method is proposed for the determination and speciation of Mn(II) and Mn(VII) in waters utilizing a macroporous resin, Amberlite XAD-7HP. The batch method was employed and flame atomic absorption spectrometry was used in all determinations. Amberlite XAD-7HP resin was shown to retain Mn(VII) between pH 4 and 12. If the solution contains only one of the species, either Mn(II) or Mn(VII), the resin behaves selectively depending on the pH of the solution. The elution from the sorbent was realized using K2C2O4 in HNO3. The efficiency of the method was checked via spike recovery experiments. The proposed method was successfully applied to industrial wastewater samples and quantitative recoveries (≥96.0%) confirmed the accuracy of the method.Article Citation - WoS: 6Citation - Scopus: 5Envelope Soliton Resonances and Broer-Kaup Non-Madelung Fluids(Pleiades Publishing, 2012) Pashaev, OktayWe derive an extended nonlinear dispersion for envelope soliton equations and also find generalized equations of the nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) type associated with this dispersion. We show that space dilatations imply hyperbolic rotation of the pair of dual equations, the NLS and resonant NLS (RNLS) equations. For the RNLS equation, in addition to the Madelung fluid representation, we find an alternative non-Madelung fluid system in the form of a Broer-Kaup system. Using the bilinear form for the RNLS equation, we construct the soliton resonances for the Broer-Kaup system and find the corresponding integrals of motion and existence conditions for the soliton resonance and also a geometric interpretation in terms of a pseudo-Riemannian surface of constant curvature. This approach can be extended to construct a resonance version and the corresponding Broer-Kaup-type representation for any envelope soliton equation. We show that the relation between the complex potential and the complex gauge field as in incompressible and irrotational hydrodynamics has the meaning of the analytic Cole-Hopf transformation, linearizing the Burgers hierarchy and transforming it into the holomorphic Schrödinger hierarchy. The motion of planar vortices in Chern-Simons theory, which appear as pole singularities of the gauge field, then corresponds to the motion of zeros of the hierarchy. We use boost transformations of the complex Galilei group of the hierarchy to construct a rich set of exact solutions describing the integrable dynamics of planar vortices and vortex lattices in terms of generalized Kampe de Feriet and Hermite polynomials. We apply the results to the holomorphic reduction of the Ishimori model and the corresponding hierarchy, describing the dynamics of magnetic vortices and the corresponding lattices in terms of complexified Calogero-Moser models. We find corrections (in terms of Airy functions) to the two-vortex dynamics from the Moyal space-time noncommutativity.
