Besides, the combination of wireless physical network coding (PNC) and multiple antennas improves the overall system performance. In this paper, we propose an efficient RIS-assisted PNC with multiple antennas to reduce delay and error probability while establishing reliable transmission between the users which are far from each other and communicating via a base station with the help of the RISs. In the proposed scheme, we employ higher-order modulations for the users with relatively high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in the PNC-NOMA pair to increase the data rate. Meanwhile, lower-order modulations are chosen for the users with relatively lower SNR values in the PNC-NOMA pair. We showed the results in terms of bit error rate (BER) for different number of antennas and users in the proposed PNC-NOMA scheme. © 2022 IEEE.
