Article Citation - WoS: 3Citation - Scopus: 3Secure Multiuser Mimo Communication Systems With Imperfect Channel State Information(Elsevier Ltd., 2019) Özbek, Berna; Özdoğan Şenol, Özgecan; Karabulut Kurt, GüneşIn this paper, we propose a secure wireless communications system through a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) channel which includes a multiple antenna base station and multiple single antenna legitimate users that are overheard by a multiple antenna eavesdropper. By assuming that the eavesdropper's channel is unknown by the base station, an artificial noise beamforming is used to prevent this eavesdropper to decode legitimate users' message in the downlink. Additionally, the base station has only imperfect channel state information (CSI) of legitimate users which is the practically relevant case. Under the condition of imperfect CSI, a noise leakage on legitimate users' signal is occurred and it degrades the achievable average secrecy sum rate. In order to reduce this noise leakage, the semi-orthogonal selection having a rotated codebook is proposed to establish a secure communications link. We demonstrate the average secrecy sum rate results of the proposed algorithm for secure multiuser MIMO systems under imperfect CSI through extensive simulation results. (c) 2019 Elsevier B.V. In this work, we propose a secure multiple input single output (MISO) multiuser system with a quantized feedback link. We assume that eavesdropper is passive and its channel state information (CSI) is not available at transmitter. In order to disrupt reception of a passive eavesdropper, we schedule more than one legitimate user. For the sake of ensuring secure communication, the CSI of legitimate users has great impact on overall performance of secrecy sum capacity. The proposed solution applies a semi-orthogonal selection with a specific codebook to reduce the quantization errors for legitimate user side while disrupting the reception of the eavesdropper. The proposed solution improved secrecy sum capacity while reducing the feedback overhead for secure MISO multiser system.Article Citation - WoS: 33Citation - Scopus: 38Stable non-Gaussian noise parameter modulation in digital communication(Institution of Engineering and Technology, 2009) Çek, Mehmet Emre; Savacı, Ferit AcarThe parameter of the stable non-Gaussian noise sequence is modulated by the binary message sequence to achieve a secure communication system. The characteristic exponent 'alpha' of a stable non-Gaussian noise sequence carries the binary information. The receiver of the proposed random communication system demodulates the received signal by estimating the parameters of the transmitted noise sequence to recover the binary message sequence.
